When Lake Nakuru dried up

From historical records,  lake Nakuru dried up between 1951 and 1953, and interventions to control soda dust were initiated in 1953. Other records say that the lake has dried up four times since 1951 but was flooded in 1961.  However, the unusual occurrence was not caused by human behavior. #NakuruHistory
